AEME has been a member of the Business Visits and Events Partnership (BVEP) for over 17 years and were pleased to support the rebrand in November 2022 to UKEVENTS.

 

UKEVENTS is the recognised and collective voice of our world-leading events industry, which represents every part of a diverse, creative and dynamic sector across the whole of the UK and champions the economic, societal and transformational value of events.

UKEVENTS’s vision is to support sustainable growth for the United Kingdom’s Events Industry.

As well as being a Partner and being represented at partner meetings, AEME Executive Committee members have served on the UKEVENTS Executive Committee. Dr Caroline Jackson, former Chair of AEME, served as Vice Chair and Treasurer and helped establish the Skills, Talent and Diversity working groups.

 

Current AEME Treasurer Glenn Bowdin now serves as Chair of UKEVENTS, following two years as their Vice Chair and Treasurer. AEME representatives also sit on their Skills & Talent Group.
